So today I decided to clean my junk folder and I always look through it just in case a few that aren’t junk got mixed in.  Well to my surprise (sarcastic tone implied), I saw I had not one but 5 emails from that reader I mentioned at the beginning of this post. I normally wouldn’t have paid attention but The subject lines in each one were progressively threatening than the next. I was like WTF?! For 1) this is the main reason I am so downplayed with my readings. I may not get alot of clients, but they get an actual reading & they get spiritual advice. I do not EVER want to be associated with those type of readers. Money is not the issue, it helps of course, but the drive behind doing readings is to help & guide people on their life paths or at least it is for TRUE PSYCHICS,MEDIUMS,PARANORMAL INVESTIGATORS and the like!!!!…..okay I am done ranting.

Remember, the reason why I am even writing this post is to bring awareness to this type of reader. I can do this because I know what the fuck I am talking about and have a lot of people who’ll not only back me up, but who also take a stand against this type of intimidating tactic just to make a quick buck.

Here’s the email I received from this “gifted reader” and you tell me if this dosn’t sound threatening in any way;

*I have omitted the name of the psychic cuz I am not going to start drama- after reading this email , I assume she thrives on it!*

The subject line”Only 5 days and it will be too late for you!”

“You’re not reacting in the face of my call although I hold the keys to your destiny.

If I were you, I wouldn’t hesitate for one second in requesting your Free Confidential Clairvoyance rather than continuing to slave away for nothing, to suffer each day a little more, to live from hand to mouth.

By accepting my free proposal you’re giving yourself a unique chance to open the doors to an easy life, free from the blows of fate.
You need providential help and without my help nothing around you will change.”

Okay.. WHAT?! First of you most definately DO NOT hold the keys to my destiny lady! I DO! Your job is to show me where I am on my path and opportunities on the way and I am the one to choose if I want to walk through it so don’t threaten me with my own fate like it is in your hands, it’s in mine!

Oh and BTW, you need to fire whoever does your wording for you because you will never get any business with the way you write to people, especially another psychic (which she didn’t “pick up” apparently LOL)! I like how she follows the one rule of marketing to getting peoples attention , make the client feel they need to do this now, but she didn’t follow how to actually write it LOL

Let’s check out  her phrasing in this section;

Wow..I never looked at taking care of my family as “slaving away and suffering each day a little more”! Okay we all have jobs that suck and wish we had better, but I hardly think a free clairvoyant reading from you will make the shackles of my slavery fall off and ease my suffering.

Hmmm Well since you put it that way…. Hey if it were that easy, we’d all be happy and living the lives we all aspire to  right? Every step we take, every decision we make, good or bad, changes our fate in all aspects.  No one will ever be “free from the blows of fate”..if we were we would never learn a damn thing, we’d never grow. And anything can be easy people and anything can be as hard as hell…it’s all how your mind takes it in!

“You need providential help and without my help nothing around you will change.”

You must be really busy lady if that statement is true. Sadly, without your help I can make changes, I mean it all comes down to me  doesn’t it?  Yes we all can use help from time to time, but no one specific person contributes to that.
Well I’m sure other people have received emails similar to this one and didn’t think anything about it and just deleted it. But there are others who buy into this bullshit, because they are hurting, tired of living in the dark so to speak, sick of being alone…It sickens me that those vultures take advantage like that.

Yogaville…I have been here in Massachusetts since Oct 2011 and 2 weeks ago I realized to my horror that I went up 2 sizes in pants. This is the first time I haven’t been actively doing something(like working) for such a long period in time. My health started to decline, caught 2 colds back to back in a 3 week period, chest congestion that just isn’t going away, sinus & digestive issues… shit I have never had to deal with before. So of course I started to get worried. Now I know I’m not in my 20′s but age really doesn’t have anything to do with my health issues at all. I quit moving. From the time I was born I have been on the move, so if you take an extremely physically active person and put them in an environment where they about 1/4 active than they were, their body, mind, and motivation starts to slow down, get sluggish. Not good for anyone, agree?

So instead of going to the doctor, (can’t afford it right now anyways) I went down to the basement and dug around for the one thing that helped me get motivated, centered , and moving again. Kundalini Yoga: for Beginners & Beyond by Ravi Singh & Ana Brett. First off…put out of your head everything negative you have heard about Kundalini Yoga! I have worked with this particular dvd off and on for 3years and I have had no side effects except feeling energized, motivated, and happy. Anyways..As I started to put the dvd in to get started, I realized that maybe there were new dvd’s out there by them, so off I went and found their website RAVIANA . And of course they had lots! I wanted something specific , I wanted something to really help me get my body from sluggish to moving again. So I came across Fat Free Yoga! The following description is off their website:

So I said “Sounds great to me!” and went on to do this 90 min dvd for 5 days straight. Now the first day I made it 45mins. LOL  I take my time whenever I start a new exercise, especially since I am sooo out of shape. I just keep focused on what is comfortable to me and modify the exercises until I get to where I can do them without the modifications, which in this case, took me about 3 days to be able to do all the exercises without any modifications. The best part is the meditations…Ravi has you relax and meditate between each exercise. I can’t describe it, but it really really just makes it like you aren’t exercising… I can tell you, after 5 days of doing the Fat free Yoga, I feel more energized, motivated, and I’m not as congested thanks to the breathing techniques in the program. So Yesturday was day 6 and I was like, “I want to switch it up! What else do they have?” So I wentback to their website and found one called Navel Power. It’s all about the tummy! We hold a crapload of stress there, and if we don’t relax and let it release, well it stays and you end up with a gut that just doesn’t go away. So I was like “this is perfect!” So yesturday and today that’s the dvd I did. Now the exercises are a little more challenging, but easy to modify and still get good results. I noticed my stomach has gone down a bit, my hips and thighs are tighter and not so flabby LOL, but the biggest improvement in the 7 days I have been doing these dvd’s…is me. I feel better overall, happier, clear headed, and peaceful. I feel like I can accomplish anything, which is not so impossible to believe for all of us. But it’s like now I believe it to be true. Today is day 7 on my “yoga” journey to the self, and today I did 30 minuets of Navel Power and Kundalini Yoga: beginners & beyond for the full 60 mins. My goal is to see the changes or rather, improvements, adding Kundalini Yoga into my daily routine. I’ll tell you this much…Makes want to do yoga all day!

So a new year begins…I know a lot of people, myself included, who are glad to see the back end of 2011 go bye bye! Now onto 2012…
Some believe it’s the end for us on 12/21/2012 going by the Mayan Calendar, some do not. I am one of the non-believers. I have seen so many good things happening this year in the world (believe it or not) as well as to the majority of those that have been less fortunate the past couple of years. Things economically are going to surprise the masses this year, in a very good way, I’m seeing this happening in early spring. There’s just an very strong overall good vibe that is permeating this controversial new year, and I for one am looking forward to seeing what’s to come, not only for myself, but for all of us.
